Singaporean singer-songwriter JAWN has collaborated with Malaysian R&B songstress JAIE for ‘Figure Out’, released via homegrown music label Where Are The Fruits? on the 7th of January. This marks his first release of the year.

Timed in at 3 minutes, the track initially opens with JAIE, as JAWN takes up the second verse that culminates in its chorus sung by the pair. ‘Figure Out’ heavily revolves around the theme of reconciliation, and was written by JAWN himself; the singer also co-produced its instrumentation alongside Josh Jacobson, an American music composer and producer.
Prior to ‘Figure Out’, JAWN released two singles in ‘A World Next Door to Yours’ and ‘want/need’ in 2021, on top of a song with Singaporean singer-songwriter and label mate lewloh in 2020 titled ‘Simple’.
