Mary Sue and the Clementi Sound Experiment Club will then set off to China, where they will join up with bié Records for shows in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, as part of the A Gathering of BIE Friends 2023 music festival.
Also set to feature regional acts such as BimBamBoom and Naja Naja, the festival will be a force in connecting friends with music and creativity.
Mary Sue’s performance at the festival will mark a notable milestone with bié Records, given the release of his full-length album, For Sure, under the label in July 2023.
This year, Mary Sue has made an indelible mark in the local hip-hop music scene. Apart from his live performance at Baybeats 2023 with the Clementi Sound Appreciation Club, he has joined forces with UK beatsmith Psychedelic Ensemble to produce his latest 15-track album, CACOPHONOUS DIGRESSIONS, A RECORD OF A MOMENT IN TIME, and organised an album launch party earlier this month.
