A new music movement is coming to Singapore, and it is announcing itself with a no holds barred concert.
Rise of The New Mongrels, organised by New Mongrels, is set to take place on 5 August at L5 @ GR.iD as it boasts a lineup that includes local headliners The Pinholes, and Aisyah Aziz, alongside members of the upcoming New Mongrels Music Imprint. These include ABANGSAPAU, CURB, Saints Among Sinners, Mary Sue, nkei, Benny's, Zaymm, Alicia DC, 730BEDSIDE, Fatbear, Rhyu.
The show will also feature Malaysian pop act Lunadira and local acts Cravism and The Cosmic Owls.

The movement is helmed by Mat from Saints Among Sinners, and ABANGSAPAU, whose real name is Shazuan Shiraj. In an Instagram post, the duo shared their vision for the New Mongrels: "A movement - a concerted effort, from artists & creatives, from various backgrounds & scenes, with the same goals in mind; to bridge, build, nurture and protect - regardless of scene, genre or status."
