Singaporean singer-songwriter Sezairi’s ‘It’s You’ has amassed over 100 million streams so far, making it a six-time digitally-streamed platinum record in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, as well as a gold in Taiwan. This also marks the first time a homegrown artist has ever achieved such a feat.

The track was the singer-songwriter’s first ballad ever released, taken off his sophomore EP Undertones. “I am incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported my music since day one. Crossing the 100 million mark is a dream come true for any artist and I am humbled by the love I’ve received,” shared Sezairi in a press statement.
“As a Singaporean and Malay singer-songwriter, it has always been a privilege to be recognised for my English-language music since I am walking among giants on the international music stage.”
Sezairi’s rise to stardom started in 2009 when he won the third edition of the singing competition, Singapore Idol. The following year, he released his debut album Take Two and subsequently his self-titled album in 2016 with Sony Music Entertainment. Most recently, he released two singles in ‘Blue’, and ‘Fool’, with the latter’s music video currently in production and slated for a release in April.
