SingPop Music launches fundraising campaign, here's how you can help

SingPop Music Limited has announced a new fundraiser dedicated to Singaporean music.

In line with their mission to train, recognise, and increase the exposure of homegrown artists, the charity — administered by the Arts and Heritage sector of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) — is the non-profit organisation's latest effort to support the growth and prominence of the local music scene as well as alleviate challenges that Singaporean musicians may face.

Funds received will go into efforts to hone the talents of homegrown acts through workshops and development programmes, provide more platforms for them to showcase their music, promote local pop music globally to "place Singapore Pop on the world map," and more. The Cultural Matching Fund (CMF) will match the donations, further adding to the support given to this charity.

Sums of $10, $60, $120, and $220 are given as options to donate on the website. Alternatively, interested donators can manually enter their desired amount (minimum $10). One-time and monthly donations are accepted.

All donations are tax-deductible and can be made here.
