In terms of programming and performances, Baybeats 2024 will certainly go down as one of the best in the festival's long-running history.
And while international acts like Japan's LITE, South Korea's CHS and Indonesia's Tuan Tigabelas (just no name a few) certainly impressed - it was the breathtaking sets from Singaporean bands who made this year's edition so unforgettable.
The local lineup was headlined by the long-awaited reformations of seminal art-rock legends B-Quartet and experimental rock veterans sub:shaman. Both bands were undoubtedly the highlights of the Powerhouse stage on their respective days.
