Last month, AsiaOne debuted a delightful new streaming series entitled ShaG sia. The 11-episode endeavour is now available to watch in its entirety on YouTube and AsiaOne.
Produced by Hei Studios, the sweet and funny show follows Aliff, a dreamer who leaves behind a comfortable office job to pursue his culinary passions by opening a hawker stall. Centered around Aliff, as well as his family and friends, ShaG sia was a relatable look at the joys and challenges of living in Singapore.
Beyond its winsome story, cast and aesthetic - one of the series' notable highlights was its music. Composed by one of Singapore's finest electronic music producers Fzpz (aka Sigmoid Fn), the evocative soundtrack provided the ideal accompaniment to the show's chaos, laughter and feels.
