Hear65 collaborates with Korean independent label for Singaporean playlist, kickstarting "INDIEVERSE" series

Being the home for Singaporean music, Hear65 has always done it’s part to bridge the gap between our local audiences and artists. We’ve kept you up to date with new releases, gave you an inside look into their brains via interviews, as well as a deep dive into different genres and scenes in our island.

Now, we’re taking those tracks overseas. In collaboration with MUN HWA IN, a Korean independent record label based in Hongdae, Seoul, we’ve curated a hyper-local YouTube playlist: 너와 함께라면 어디든 좋아 (해외 인디 플레이리스트) :: INDIEVERSE ::”.

An ongoing segment that started 2 years ago,“K-Indie Picks” sees the label curate Korean indie tracks onto YouTube playlists, pushing it out to their subscribers and beyond. Now, they're debuting 'INDIEVERSE', a series where they'll be sharing international indie songs, with Hear65's curation kickstarting the series.

Featuring: Joie Tan, Dru Chen, Rangga Jones, JAWN, lullaboy, Jason Yu, Jean Seizure, hongjoin, Vivien Yap, Shea Ng, NyaLi, lewloh, Charlie Lim, Jklmn., DarylKeithTeoh, bernice.wav, GARETH FERNANDEZ, Cigarette Burns, and Alex Jeremy.

Speaking on the collaboration with Hear65, MUN HWA IN shared: “Making a playlist with international indie music has always been one of our plans for our YouTube channel. We noticed the growth of international viewers when we looked at the recent data. And just at the right time, we got in touch with Hear65, so we thought it was finally the time to start our new playlist content for international indie music “INDIEVERSE.”

On top of our weekly updated Spotify playlists, Hear65 also curates YouTube playlists. Subscribe to discover more music, and if you have a playlist idea you think we should explore, you can let us know too.
