KEYANA has released her new single ‘Afterglow’ on the 1st of October, teaming up with 3-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording and mix engineer JT Gagarin, who has notably worked with the likes of SZA, 6LACK, and Jhene Aiko.

The 3-minute track features her smooth vocals, reminiscent of Snoh Aalegra as they quietly and progressively soar over the euphonic instrumentals by prodbydan.
In her new evocative single, the 18-year-old R&B singer confronts her innermost thoughts as she tries to pin down what an ideal woman is through a conversation with herself. In a press statement, she shares: “Knowing that I have a long way to go before becoming that ideal woman, the roads that I have walked and paths that lay ahead in this new journey make me worry that I may not end up becoming the woman I aspire to be.”
“But as I speak to myself, a part of me reaches out and reminds me that the ideal woman has always been within me. It is through this conversation I learn that as long as I embrace who I am and follow my heart in all that comes with this journey, I will become that ideal woman and experience my Afterglow.”
