Piano prodigy Mikkel Myer Lee set to make history with 'Beethoven - The Complete 32 Piano Sonatas'

Mikkel Myer Lee is poised to make history. Turning 12 this year, Mikkel is set to be the youngest musician ever perform Beethoven’s Complete 32 Piano Sonatas.

The Singaporean piano prodigy is set perform all 32 sonatas publicly over the next 3 years. His journey begins on 3 December at School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), where he will launch the 1st instalment of an ambitious 8-part concert series.

In this 1st concert, he will perform 4 piano sonatas by the revered German musician and composer: Piano Sonata No. 6, No. 11, No. 31 and No. 14 “Moonlight”.

Endowed with perfect pitch, Mikkel’s musical talent has already captured worldwide attention as the youngest participant of the Verbier Festival, a prestigious international event in Switzerland. Mikkel was also the youngest pianist to publicly perform both Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 and Chopin Piano Concerto No.2.
