Shye announced as opening act for Singapore leg of Daniel Caesar's 'Superpowers World Tour'

The opening act for Daniel Caesar's upcoming concert in Singapore has been revealed.

On Friday (7 July), the event's promoter, Now/Live took to its official Instagram page to announce that Shye will be supporting the GRAMMY-winning R&B artist when he brings his ongoing Superpowers World Tour to the Lion City later this month.

The homegrown singer-songwriter and producer, who is behind tracks such as 'love u' and 'HOW R U SLEEPING', is set to take the stage at The Star Theatre on 17 July, where she will perform in front of a sold-out crowd before Caesar's show commences.

One of the brightest young talents to emerge from Singapore in recent years, Shye has launched four albums since 2018, including days to morning glory, which picked up the award for Album of the Year at *SCAPE Youth Music Awards 2021.

She has also contributed to the 2021 National Day Parade theme song 'The Road Ahead', represented Singapore at South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW)'s all-Asian Tiger Den event earlier this year.
