If St. Humain's past 2 EPs - EMOTIONAL SAUNA and METADRAMATIC - have taught us anything, its that Singaporean singer doesn't shy away from expressing the rawest of vulnerabilities through his exquisite music.
After a brief hiatus, the pop and alt-R&B artist marks his comeback with a new single called 'friend', featuring South Korean rapper Microdot. The track continues St. Humain's streak of painfully personal lyricism surrounding relationship complexities, this time with a yearning ballad about falling for a friend.
The gorgeous track, taken off his forthcoming baby EP, also comes with an evocative music video, that St. Humain funded by selling his car! Judging by the results though, we'd say that cost was worth it.
