Singaporen singer-songwriter Tay Kexin has released a brand new single titled ‘我的 Party Time (Special Edition)’ on the 28th of January, marking her comeback as a solo artist.

This marks the first solo single she has released since ‘勇敢证明’ , 10 years ago. The track is a rendition of the track, ‘我的 Party Time’ originally performed by the Singaporean acapella group MICappella. In Kexin's ‘Special Edition’, she is accompanied by a band instead, pulsing out a groovy future-retro sound.
In a press release statement, the soprano of MICappella shared: “10 years ago I wanted to prove myself with the song ‘勇敢证明’ and it has been such a whirlwind journey since then. I’ve written a lot of songs for MICapella during this time, this song included, I now finally have a song to call my own."
