Singaporean singer-songwriter-producer Hong Junyang has released his first single of the year.
Titled ‘Fearless Pursuit’, the track was launched on 22 September. Junyang also officially announced his recent signing to Cross Ratio Entertainment, Singapore’s largest independent label. He will be co-managed by AGNT.

Intended to be a “positive and motivational Mandopop go-to anthem”, the single was created by the homegrown artist during the pandemic.
Of the inspiration behind ‘Fearless Pursuit’, Junyang explained in a press statement: “I wrote this song at a time when I was very aimless in life. I felt I was very busy every day but do not know what I am busy with at all. I don’t feel a sense of direction and purpose. I hope this song encourages anyone not to give up and have faith, continue to follow your heart and pursue that thing you love on that path, direction, and light that guides you.”
The official music video was released on 24 September, on Junyang’s YouTube channel.
