BLACKPINK's LISA includes Marian Carmel, Sam Rui, and Yung Raja as "current favourites" in Spotify playlist

As a music artist, there are certain events that you'll remember for the rest of your career. It may be releasing your first ever album, receiving an award, or having your song featured on a show. A few Singaporean artists have something new to add to their list of significant events – BLACKPINK's LISA included their tracks in a Spotify playlist. 

Titled Dope AF, the playlist features tracks handpicked by the K-pop artist, with the description of the playlist reading "BLACKPINK's Lisa shares her debut singles and current favourites." Comprising 90 songs in total, the Spotify playlist includes tracks from artists all over the world including Malaysia's Yuna, American R&B artist Jhené Aiko, Chinese-American singer Karencici, and more.

Eagle-eyed fans were fast to spot several Singaporean artists featured on the playlist. Marian Carmel's song 'You Like The Chase' was amongst the tracks, alongside Sam Rui's 2020 release 'ALJI'. Yung Raja's collaboration with Malaysian artist SYA, titled 'PrettyGirlBop', was also on the list.

After receiving a DM from a fan about the news, Marian Carmel uploaded a reaction video on her TikTok account. The TikTok has already garnered 40,000 views at the time of writing.

Singer-songwriter Sam Rui also expressed her excitement in a series of tweets and Instagram stories.
