Singaporean rapper and producer Masia One has released her brand new single titled 'Girl Go Get It' on the 4th of November via Nusantara Records.

Collaborating with ALX to produce the instrumentation, the 2-minute track features a driving uptempo drum beat with Masia spitting lyrically uplifting rhymes. In a press release statement, she explains the track’s ethos: “This song is the awakening of your best self. Literally! Get up in the morning and put this on while brushing your teeth and feel energized and empowered to face your day.”
“Even if the day is tough, a Hip-hop charged affirmation can change the frequency of your whole vibe. You might even turn it around and attract the things you DO want in life,” declared Masia.
The release is accompanied by a music video, featuring Masia herself, Jodie Cheong, Elly Andriana Maran, and Pei Hwa Goh as they go about their day all in the spirit of the track’s title.
This marks Masia’s second release in 2021, following 'Not All That Glitters is Gold' in February. In 2018, she released her fourth full-length album in Far East Empress, which features collaborations with American rock-band Spoon as well as Malaysian rap collective Lawalah Familia to name a few.
