Singaporean pop-rock outfit Quis (“奇市乐团”) have released their latest single ‘METAMORPHOSIS’ (蜕变) followed by an accompanying music video on the 10th of December.

The four-minute track sung in Mandarin focuses on the themes surrounding current global environmental conditions. In a press statement, guitarist Hong Yi shared: “We have reached a stage where environmental threats and the dangers human actions pose to the living world are too catastrophic to ignore. In some aspects, we have already gone beyond the point of no return; we are losing thousands of species every year, some of us without even knowing. We simply cannot afford to continue down this slippery path - there is only one Planet Earth, no Planet B.”
The quintet's music video for the single further highlights the issues shrouding the global environmental condition.
‘METAMORPHOSIS’ is the band’s lead single building up to five-track EP HELLO, STRANGE NEW WORLD (新奇的世界，你好。) which is set for release in 2022. In 2015, Quis released their debut 8-track album titled Transition.
