Shye has unveiled her latest single titled 'notgonnalie' that will be part of her upcoming mini-album, hello TRINITY slated for release on 12 November.
The singer-songwriter made the announcement on her Instagram account on 14 October, a day before the track's release. "HELLO EVERYJODY OHEMEEEGEEE WHAT???????? notgonnalie drops at midnight andddddddddd……… MY MINI-ALBUM 'hello TRINITY' IS ARRIVING ON 12 NOVEMBER," the singer wrote in her whimsical caption.

Written and produced singlehandedly by Shye, the upbeat synth-pop track successfully conveys the 19-year-old's labyrinth of emotions. "Feeling like I wanna cry, feeling like I wanna scream," she sings. "But honestly, life's a dream."
The song follows Shye's previous singles released this year – 'not rly', 'ITIM', and 'how r u sleeping'.
hello TRINITY will be Shye's third album, following Augus7ine in 2018 and days to morning glory in 2020.
The electropop artist was also recently nominated for Best Asian Creative Artist at this year's Golden Indie Music Awards.
