Sobs to open for indie outfit Alvvays in Singapore

Sobs will support Canadian indie-pop band Alvvays at their upcoming Singapore concert.

Concert promoter Symmetry shared the news via its official Twitter page on 24 August and teased that concert-goers can expect an opening set from the homegrown pop trio consisting of newer tunes, such as 2022's 'Air Guitar', as well as familiar older releases, such as 2017's 'Girl'.

Set to be held at the Capitol Theatre on 24 November, the event is part of Alvvays' 2023 Asia tour, which will also take them to cities such as Taipei, Jakarta, Tokyo, and Bangkok.

Tickets to the Singapore leg of Alvvays' Asia tour are now available via Eventbrite from $103.75.

Earlier this year, Sobs, comprising frontwoman Celine Autumn, lead guitarist Jared Lim, and rhythm guitarist Raphael Ong, embarked on a tour of North America and made an appearance on American radio station KEXP-FM.
