The finalists of the 2022 edition of Baybeats' Budding Bands programme will be reuniting this year.
Set to be held at Wire Entertainment, WE! Live House on 30 September, The Baybuddies Show will feature performances from shoegaze and dream pop band motifs, singer-songwriter xena giam, progressive metalcore outfits Reserate and Aggressive Raisin Cat, and indie-rock quartet Hijack Hayley.

The event will be a celebration of how far the five acts have come since last year's iteration of Budding Bands, which culminated in a series of live performances at the DBS Foundation Esplanade Outdoor Theatre during Baybeats 2022.
"The best part was knowing that Baybeats thought that we were worthy of being able to play at [the festival]. Aside from that, the budding programmes were very informative and we could network with many industry professionals and make friends with the other budding bands (or as I prefer to call them, our Budding Buddies)," shared Reserate's Kevyn in an interview with Hear65 last year.
