Singer-songwriter Suthasini first broke out as the 2011 winner of Vasantham Star, a prestigious singing competition hosted by Mediacorp. Since then, she's become one of Singapore's leading artists through her incredible body of work, which includes hit singles like 'Thalavali' and her Tamil NDP song 'Nam Singapore'.
From being distinguished as "Best Emerging Artist" from Dick Lee’s Rice Company, to co-founding music production house Svish Studioz - Suthasini has been an inspiring force in the local music scene in recent years.
But even with so many accomplishments under her belt, her latest milestone must hold a special place in her heart. This year, Suthasini became the first female artist to compose Mediacorp's official Deepavali song! Entitled 'Vanthuruchu Deepavali', the 2024 anthem also features the talents of Vishnu Balaji, Darshna Mahadevan, Pallavi Jyothish and Soorya Anand.

"From the time I won the title of Vasantham Star till now, I am never the kind to just sing when I’m called and go home... I wanted more! I wanted to create a change and I swam against the current. It is definitely a harsh ocean, but I always love a challenge. I will continue working hard till I’m so old and content. I am sharing my little milestones to inspire young women out there to continue burning the fire in them to break barriers and prove to the world that Nothing is Impossible," Suthasini shares.
