The wait for this year's edition of the celebrated Baybeats festival is almost over.
With slightly over a month to go before this year's event, which will be held at the Esplanade from 28 October to 30 October, the festival's organisers have unveiled the long-awaited performance lineup for it.

As with its previous editions, the 2022 version of the annual alternative music festival will feature homegrown, regional, and international artists from across an assortment of sounds — including post-rock, shoegaze, grunge, metal, emo, punk, glam rock, electronica, electro, indie, folk, power-pop, and twee.
Included in this year's lineup are Singapore representatives IMAN, motifs, Astronauts, Hijack Hayley, Naedr, FERS, Quite Quiet, Bakers In Space, xena giam, Reserate, Carpet Golf, Trust The Chaos, Rudra, Aggressive Raisin Cat, False Plaintiff, TENGY, The Voodoo Sound, ALYPH, and Force Vomit.

Described as a "melting pot in the heart of Asia" the free event will also be a platform for musicians to network and trade ideas.
