Mediacorp has found its newest radio star in Ezam Ernady.
On 15 October, Ezam was crowned the champion of the local media giant's Suara Juara — The Star Voice 2023, a talent reality competition that was launched to develop individuals with dreams of hosting and being on the airwaves.

During his time on the competition, Ezam demonstrated his hosting and interviewing prowess along with his ability to create content in a variety of challenges and activities. After reaching the Finals, he entertained the competition's judges and audience during a song-and-dance presentation that saw him put his own spin on traditional numbers.
Ezam, as well as fellow finalists Farihin Anwar and Raihan Yacob, was also given an opportunity to flex his skills as an interviewer in an interview segment with guest judge Najip Ali.
Aside from receiving a $10,000 cash prize for winning Suara Juara — The Star Voice 2023, Ezam has also secured a contract to be on local airwaves as a presenter on Mediacorp's Malay radio station RIA 897.
"I am beyond delighted to have made my supportive family proud with this win. Throughout this journey, the team of encouraging mentors has imparted valuable advice and knowledge which greatly helped me in improving my linguistic and presentation skills. I will continue to upgrade myself, and cannot wait to spread love, fun, and laughter, and entertain RIA 897 listeners in the near future," he said.
