The track features Forests’ newest addition - Daniel Lim - to the band’s lineup, recording guitars and vocals with them for the very first time. Darrell Laser, their frontman told Hear65 that the single is “just another song about how things will break, nothing you can do about it. Just suck it up, let's go.”
Its music video was directed by Daniel Chan (aka DanVisuals) of XingFoo&Roy. The emo-trio also announced the release date of their upcoming third album, Get In Losers, We’re Going To Eternal Damnation, set for release on the first of April. The frontman informed us that listeners should “expect sadder songs for happier people from the new album.”
In 2016, Forests released their critically-acclaimed debut album Sun Eat Moon Grave Party which most notably features ‘Tamago’; it was cited as the '100th ‘Greatest Ever Emo Song of All Time’ by New York-based culture and entertainment publication Vulture. Most recently, they released their sophomore album Spending Eternity in a Japanese Convenience Store in 2019.
