Forests set up fundraiser following robbery incident in the US, here's how you can help

Homegrown emo math-rock band Forests have set up a fundraiser following a robbery incident in the United States.

The incident, which happened in Hayward, California, involved both Forests and American band Ben Quad (BQ), who are joining the 'Kawaii Hawaii' act on their Get in Losers, We're Going to Walmart American tour. The robbery saw three guitars, BQ’s merch box, and other personal items get stolen.

Funds raised will go into obtaining replacement instruments and aiding the bands financially for the remainder of their tour.

"Hey gang our important stuff got stolen from the van last night, and we’re not even halfway done with the tour :’) Darell’s bass got stolen, Henry’s bass got stolen, Edgar’s guitar too and also @benquadok’s cash box, I wish we didn’t have to do this but we have set up a go fund me page (in our link bio) if you would like to help us out it would really mean a lot to us :’) p.s: for anyone asking, the gig still goes on," Forests wrote on their official Instagram page.

The three-piece band, comprising Darell Laser, Niki Koh, and Daniel Lim, have also appealed to fans in the Bay area to look out for the stolen instruments, specifically a Silent Siren Telecaster, Teal Fender Left Handed Precision Bass, and Teal Squier Bass

Donations to aid the bands can be made on GoFundMe.
