Rahmat Damansari has released ‘Gerhana’ which features singer-songwriter, rapper and vocal producer Aisha Ayesha, and is produced by IN THE NOW, on the 8th of October. This follows from Rahmat’s previous release in August titled ‘SERIK’ which was another collaboration, featuring UMAR from Dudes in Parachutes.

The 3-minute bilingual track features Rahmat and Aisha’s resonant vocals as they deliver their pining for a specific someone, of a prospective love coming together. In an Instagram post, Rahmat shared that the idea for this song came from a demo “and a lot of gibberish”. He then enlisted the help of Aisha as he felt that a feature would elevate the track - he continued to share that the song was originally sung in English, but he changed it because “why not?”

‘Gerhana’ marks Rahmat’s 8th single release thus far since 2019, which includes ‘You & Me’, ‘Jatuh Cinta’, ‘Mama’, ‘Fall for Me’, ‘Blame My Heart’, ‘Feel This Way’ and ‘SERIK’. On the other hand, Aisha has released an album titled ‘Epitome of Love’ in 2017 and is now hosting SYNERGY.WAV, a series to spotlight Singaporean talent.
