Homegrown singer-songwriter Rangga Jones and R&B producer Shaykhandbake have released ‘On My Mind’, the first single to be released from season two of Majulah Weekender on the 4th of February.

The melodic, 808-heavy R&B track dives into the aftermath of a relationship: "Basically, the song is about a misunderstood breakup and you’re listening to the guy’s point of view and thoughts throughout the whole relationship," Rangga declared in a press release statement.
Explaining the production process of the track, Shaykh said: “I had this idea of having the first half of the song be an R&B jam to highlight Rangga’s voice and later on evolve into a party remix which is an ode to how things get better eventually.”
The Majulah Weekender series will see three groups of artists paired with seasoned producers, with each episode documenting the processes of them creating their tracks as they take over Zendyll Studios for a weekend.
