Shye has joined this year’s edition of CHUANG ASIA.
The homegrown pop act took to her social media platforms to announce her participation in the idol survival series in Thailand on 15 January. Set to premiere on 3 February, the series will be streamed every Saturday at 10:30 PM SGT via WeTV.
Joining a line-up of 70 local and international talents from Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India, South Korea, and the United States, Shye will be the sole talent to represent Singapore in the show’s final round.
Last year, the ‘PRINCESS’ singer completed Mango TV’s Chinese reality competition 青年π计划 (Youth π Plan) as a finalist.

CHUANG ASIA is a reality talent survival show that lets personalities from various continents showcase their talents in singing and dancing while providing a platform that encourages cultural exchange and collaboration between individuals. A spin-off of Tencent’s premiere idol survival show, Chuang, CHUANG ASIA’s Thailand edition will be the first chapter of the new series.
Co-produced by RYCE Entertainment and Tencent WeTV, the show will see RYCE Entertainment co-founder and global pop star Jackson Wang serve as its lead mentor. He will be joined by WayV’s Ten, singer-actors Jeff Satur and Mike Angelo, and singer Nene Pornnappan.
