Singer-songwriter Dru Chen has released his album Slow Life on the 5th of November, which includes a new track titled 'La Di Da' featuring Gentle Bones.
Timed in at 2 minutes, La Di Da presents itself as an uplifting pop/rock track as the duo harmonically combines to comfort listeners. In a press release statement, Chen echoes that statement: “‘La Di Da’ speaks to the wounded souls trapped in the pressure cooker of the urban jungle, where work-life balance is sacrificed for fear of losing out to your competition.”
“Having experienced this first hand in Singapore, Gentle Bones and I united to deliver a tonic to stressed-out citizens, inviting the listener to take a step back, a deep breath, and just sing.”
Chen is also set to launch his album together with Rangga Jones at the Esplanade Concert Hall on the 12th of November as part of Esplanade's Mosaic Music Series. Grab your tickets and witness him live while you still can - in an Instagram post, he wrote: “The concert hall show will be my last one for a while.”
