Wong will be performing a repertoire made up of tracks from Akasha, his latest four-track endeavour that went live on the 19th of March. The ambient purveyor’s live set-up will be accompanied by works from multidisciplinary artists Joshua Tiados Suarez and Sarah Isabelle Tan.

In a press release, Wong spoke on the ethos of the upcoming show: “More than producing and composing, the act of performance is one that is crucial to how I feel about telling a story or an experience. I intend to translate the essence of the EP into a live performance that transports listeners on this journey.

Akhasha was released on the 19th of March and sonically paints Wong’s journey as the artist he is today, crediting the two multidisciplinary artists as inspirations for it. In an Instagram post, he wrote: “Akasha is something I never expected to write - in fact most of what I release stems from a channeling of something deep within that calls out to be expressed to be translated into sound.

"It is often times influenced by the environments and the people, Sarah Isabelle Tan and Josh Tirados Suarez, in this case who created the elements that sparked the fire.”

Tickets are priced at $33 (inclusive of booking fees), and are available for purchase here.

Flock at The Nest is a platform to showcase musicians and their original craft, and its first iteration housed the likes of Benjamin Kheng, lewloh, and Marian Carmel. In its second, Aisyah Aziz, Lorong Boys, and Nathan Hartono took to the stage.
