Kevin Lester aka THELIONCITYBOY and local footballing club Lion City Sailors F.C have released a short track titled ‘Ole, Allez, Allez!' over the National Day weekend, accompanying a short music video posted on their socials.
The promotional video features the rapper, who serves as Creative Director of the club, as well as players from the club – Aqhari Abdullah, Tajeli Salamat, and Hafiz Nor translating their talents on the pitch to the microphone for the ad-libs on the track.

The music video was shot by local video production agency Island Boys! and was recorded at the Jalan Besar Stadium, spliced with footage of several Sailors scoring goals – what better place to do a football anthem than a football ground?
Echoing the closure of the song, THELIONCITYBOY writes in his Instagram caption for the song’s release: “Regardless of race, language or anything in between. It’s family, it’s your city, it’s us together.”
Earlier this year, the social-commentary prone rapper was signed onto the club for his services as their Creative Director, the first time a local footballing club has recruited a Singaporean musician for such an endeavor. The news was designed in a similar fashion to marquee player signings, with Lester announcing the news on his socials.

'Olé' is a Spanish word that means "Bravo" and is commonly used as an exclamation of approval at football matches and other sporting events. 'Allez' on the other hand is a French word that means "Go". It is commonly associated with the French football team, nicknamed "Les Bleus" with the phrase "Allez Les Bleus".
