Homegrown emerging producer VITICZ has released a brand new remix of the Majulah Weekender track ‘One Mississippi’ on the 8th of April, originally debuted by Kitty Purrnaz and Claire Chew.
Suherman, who uses the moniker VITICZ, fuses together genres from different time periods on this remixed track. In a press release statement, he shared: “Initially I thought about going for the classic Y2K eurodance or breakbeat fusion with modern electronic dance music. It kinda worked out well in the end, with a little disco melancholic chord progression overall.”
This new track marks the first of the upcoming 5 singles to be released under Majulah Weekender’s season 2. On the 22nd of April, EDM producer Foxela will release his remix of Shaykhandbake and Rangga Jones' banger 'On My Mind.'
In May, the Schools edition will see the link up between R&B act Leeray and producer PravOnTheLoose, while emerging act owellciao works together with seasoned vet evanturetime. The episodic series will reach its finale in June, where singer-songwriter Joy Alexis blends with EDM producer MYRNE.
