YAØ, Hashy Yusof, and Yung Raja celebrate the Somerset Belt via 'Sounds of Somerset'

Singaporean star-studded trio YAØ, Hashy Yusof, and Yung Raja have teamed up to release a track called ‘Sounds of Somerset’ for the Somerset Belt, set for release in mid March.

Produced by homegrown music producer evanturetime, the track aims to invoke the sense of belonging for the youths for Somerset Belt, and how it's a space for them to express themselves through their hobbies and creativity.

In an Instagram post, Hahsy said: “I want listeners of Sounds of Somerset to feel a sense of nostalgia about spending their younger days growing up in town, specifically Somerset, and for the current youths, to go there and build life long memories!”

Similarly, Raja shared: “We have something that’s truly unique, in the way that we all come together, it’s really magical - and that is so beautiful. I want people to feel that exact spirit and celebrate that!”

Previously, Zendyll Music Agency partnered together with National Youth Council and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth for ARtistry@Somerset, which featured a series of Augmented Reality performances by Feez., RRILEY, Intriguant, Yung Raja, and Iman Fandi.

Most recently, YAØ released his newest single ‘Lose Face’. In 2021, Hashy dropped a single ‘iwbwy’, while Raja was featured on the West Coast hip-hop mammoth Snoop Dogg’s album.
